Caged Birds

The most honest quote I've ever came across :]

"I ain't such a saint that I can promise to risk my life for strangers. Neither am I scum to sit quietly while people are getting hurt before my eyes!" - Chris Brown [Not the superstar mind you!]

So anyways, I got to hang out with Christian, Arie & Dreidel on Wednesday =) I started off by going to Christian's apartment for awhile and jam on his piano :] After meeting his parents and whatnot, we went to fetch Dreidel, which took forever and a HALF cause she is SLOW! x_x Then we met up with Arie at the BBQ place across from Forest Lawn. It was pretty good and putting jello on the grill was one of the most entertaining things to see. Then we talked about melting as a form of death. (Btw if you guys are reading this, you guys are sickening x] ) Anyways, after that, we went to Forest Lawn and visited Paul. :D There were so many flowers and pinwheels on his spot, so it wasn't hard to find him this time around. After some reminiscing of the past, and talking about the future and life, we said our goodbyes to Paul for now, but Arie stayed behind for a bit while Christian, Dreidel and I (I just realized that makes CDE) went to the mausoleums. I bet Arie had some good alone time with Paul :] Exploring Forest Lawn can be deceptively fun, yet enriching. It makes us appreciate life a bit more, along with some whistling of Zelda tunes.

We shall bust a Zelda one day sir ;)

After the craziness at the cemetary, we all went to Ben & Jerrys at Town Center to get some ice cream and smoothies. Freaking Arie and his dolphin senses tingled as we witnessed this one girl working over there. His reaction = priceless. While we were there, Jacob and Miranda stopped by and we had some small talk. Jake and his kidney stones; I hope he gets better =) Band camp this year with him & Miranda is gonna be HELLA interesting xD So after Jake, Miranda and the cute worker girl left B&J, we decided to leave too and pick up quarters from the fountain near by and skip pebbles x] Unfortunately, I had to bust away home due to the fact that I had to go to church later so I had to leave the people behind. :(

After knocking out at church, I went back home and the first thing that happened was that MY GRANDMA CAME BACK FROM THE PHILIPPINES! ;D She is freaking amazing and still young x] I missed her so much. Although she did kinda steal my sleeping spot, so now I have to sleep in the office while she is here. And I have no blanket out here. Depressing :(

So after catching up with the family, I talked to people on aim such as Franchini, Arie, CJ, Damon*, Christian, Shelby etc. etc. Damon is in some deep shit right now & needs all the help he can get x[

Mr Evill Jr (12:38:29 AM): but do you still read other's blogs?
F ranchini M ae (12:38:38 AM): yes, yours.
Mr Evill Jr (12:38:50 AM): o___O haha woow
Mr Evill Jr (12:38:57 AM): i have a low-key follower x]
F ranchini M ae (12:39:01 AM): ur the only one that updates

I think that was a low-key message from God saying that I need to stray away from blogging a bit more often. xD But its fun though. But then again, who knows who can be reading this stuff. o__O It might be a CREEPER!! XD

Anyways, so I kinda want to release the birds from their cages. But seeing both of their circumstances, that is easier said than done. One of the cages has a blatant sign that says "No EJ's allowed" on its door, so this cage is gonna be A LOT harder to break. The other cage is a mystery, so I don't know what to expect.

Other than that, I'm supposed to be filmming with CJ when he gets back from Vegas and watching "Awkward Balloon" too. That'll be cool! :D And maybe I'll go to Franchini's house beforehand :D Speaking of which, I'm now motivated to get her into Avatar xD But thats iffy.

In 12minutes from this posting its about to be 2:22 so I'll update later.

Just a small sample of the number of lives he has impacted. (This one was for him)
Photobucket

So as I am typing this blog, the memories I shared with him for the past 8-9 years that I've known him suddenly floods my head. From the times where we would play video games, make music, sleep with each other, talk about girls, comfort each other, hang out, re-watching RENT a million times over, have heart to hearts, encourage each other to be our best, singing the songs from RENT like idiots, listening to Stevie Wonder music, making every living moment our last (in which he has succeeded) etc. etc. There are countless more things to say, but at this moment I can't even think straight. Man there were moments where I tearfully regret not taking the opportunities to go see him to the best of my ability, but even with that, he still had the heart to forgive a selfish bastard like me. The top 2 proverbs I can associate with him are [one of which I heard at his memorial]

"Living life is not about the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away"

"Life is not about how we survive the storm, but its how we dance in the rain"

So I guess the reason why I just did this thing now is because ever since he passed away, there hasn't been a day that has gone by that I have NOT thought about him. He is the type of person you wouldn't want to forget in the first place ;] I just wanna say, I love you man. Simply said.

Most likely, you're probably jamming with Michael Jackson right now. You two would make some amazing music. :D

The Dangers of Blogging and Exploding Flowers

So blogging for the most part is pretty cool considering that you can vent out your feelings and maintain your memories on mortal server, with the whole world to see. But the fact that its not a private diary can also be a downfall. x]

It basically screwed CJ over x[

Sunday:
So to make up for it, CJ asked me to go drive him around Cerritos at night, to drop something off at his girlfriend's house. So we went to her neighborhood, and CJ wanted to get a flower to add to the letter. We walked a bit so there wouldn't be anyone watching us pick a flower from their garden. When the opportunity came, CJ busted out his keys as a cutter of sorts and hacked away at one of the flowers he wanted to pick out. However, when he hit the stem, the flower suddenly exploded.

yes. it really exploded.

There was awkward silence for 3 seconds... then we busted out laughing. The horrid irony and symbolism of this cruel act from God. The gravity of the situation we were in made it all the more funny xD so Cj went for his 2nd shot at another flower, and FINALLY got the flower without making it explode, but then suddenly a dog comes out from this tall wall and begins barking the hell outta us. We dashed, then we waited. Cj dropped off the flower and letter and then we busted to Daniel's house where Dan & Rochelle await us. On the way, I wanted to get some ice cream, so I made a left at this random street to go to the Baskin Robbins near by. Turns out that the way into the parking lot was for PEDESTRIANS ONLY! FML! So I made a complete circle around the complex and FINALLY made it to Baskin Robbins, dodging Fire trucks, ambulances, and police cars along the way only to find out that it was closed.

:(

So we eventually ended up at Daniel's house. I was somehow compelled into sleeping over there, with Rochelle being high off her 5lbs breasts. x] We brawled for awhile, Daniel & CJ ganged up on me for the ultimate juju. I saw death :( Then Daniel used his Mexican skills to comfort Kirstie, while CJ got his freaking revenge from me beating the crap outta him in brawl ;)

Then those niggas left for Vegas the next morning, while I stayed in Daniel's house till 2pm with his Grandma. After countless efforts of looking for people to hangout with, I sorta gave up and drove home.

Although on my way home, I was on the phone with Franchini for a bit, and while I was talking to her while driving [I know, thats bad], I suddenly missed the 22 freeway towards home. FML!

So in addition to getting lost a bit, it basically added 10 minutes and more gas to get home. God dammit chini x]

Once Upon a Time...

So while I was in the shower, I had epiphanies for two types of stories to be used in a film and/or novel.

One story is based on just an ordinary guy, living his ordinary life, until one of the people in his town has become the "chosen one". Then typical chosen one story ensues. This is not about the 'chosen one' or hero, but rather the guy on the side that is unfortunately tied into the hero's story.

Example: Harry Potter is the chosen one. I want to make a story/movie about Neville Longbottom =]

Another story I have in mind is a bit more on the romantic/teenage side of things x]

Starting pitch - Raphael, the main character of the drama, lives a pretty good life. He has really good friends, his family is intact, and overall he is a nice, average guy. Although that doesn't stop him from crushing on this one girl named May. So being the nice guy that he is, he aspires to make new friends when the opportunity comes, but when he comes across a girl named April, his life goes through a drastic curve. You see, April is a pretty cute shy girl, with a select number of friends [all of which are girls], and when she walks to class, she usually does it alone. One day, Raphael accidentally bumps into her before the next class period. He hastily apologizes to April, introduces himself, and begins a quick conversation. Knowing that April does not have a friend that is a boy, Raphael asks if he can be her first guy friend. She hesitantly agrees, but this common act of kindness twists into what she believes is her first love.

Ehh.. still in the planning stages, but I have no idea if this will follow through. If it does, I need to add dialogue first and foremost xD

Summarization

Well this week has been intersting.

*TOO MUCH DRIVING!
*Made a new friend around town. Her name is Kirstie. =)
*Got to eat some KBBQ.
*Embraced my duties as sax leader.
*Watched Harry Potter.
*Went to church A LOT.
*Got a full tank of gas [for the first time in my life]
*Waste my life on brawl.
*Realized that there is false hope in pursuing this one chick xD
*Went shopping with Shelby & Moemi.
*Hung out with the boys & girl :]
*Reconnect some.
*Death threats.
*New Musical Inspirations :)
*SAX SECTIONAL
*New Apprentice[s]

Something intersting that I came across: I have no idea if this is directed to me or not, but nontheless it is depressing x]

"The more I talk to you, the more I realize I don't want you (:"

Meanwhile, I ponder the names of my potential future daughters. Bonquisha anybody?

Dress Shopping

So it has been decided that we're gonna use our prize money from the Japanese Karaoke contest on buying dresses. O_____o Maybe food if we're lucky xD

Well at least I can get a head start on that birthday gift =] Although helping my friend out for her "date" is gonna be something interesting ;)

& hopefully later we'll meet up with the Cerritos kids at BJ's [assuming that it is still happening]

But first, GAS!

OH HELL NO!

One of my dear beloved childhood movies has turned into horror!!

In the Wee Small Hours...

What a way to start the day. =)

Went to church at 5am xD And I surprisingly didn't fall asleep.

Anyways, yesterday was interesting. Picked up Damon, Chey, Ilenh, and Brenda, then met up with CJ & Daniel with Kristine and Ben, then Monico and Fronz met up with us. Tis a small world x] In terms of productivity, we didn't really do much except swim and waste gas x[

Today will hopefully be a better day.

Master & Apprentice

Well.

When I first began high school, wait, when I began BAND CAMP, I was an annoying, complaining n00b on the Tenor Saxophone. I remember I wanted to play clarinet or alto sax for Marching band because those were the instruments I was familiar with, but Mr. Stevens forced me to play tenor due to the lack of Tenor sax players at the time.

I gotta say, that was the best forced-decision making ever to happen in my music life :)

Now fast-forward to the present. I'm officially a senior now, which means I'm supposed to be considered NOT an apprentice, but a master and someone to look up to now. Although I still have TONS to learn. So I'm the official section leader of the saxes in Marching Band, and I guess you can say that I'm not ready yet x] However, its funny that one of the new freshman coming into the sax section is a reminder of me. He came from Hudson (same school I came from), is playing Tenor from Alto (same as myself), filipino (bonus points), and going through the same struggles on Tenor. I LAY CLAIM AS THIS GUY IS OFFICIALLY MY FAVORITE FRESHMAN!

Its funny how the world now comes full circle :)

So right now, I gotta call up Greg and set-up the session :] Btw, if you're a sax player going to Poly High School, consider going to this sectional! It'll be good :D

EJ & the Temple of the Omniscient Monks...

Well...

My day started off with waking up at Monico's house, playing the saxophone in there [Over the Rainbow and Beautiful as You] (Beautiful as You is an insider ;) ) but anyways, so me & CJ got some KOREAN BBQ. Woo. But we didn't eat as much as we usually do. However it was nice that Rochelle was feeding me x] haha sorry Gary ;) After that, I was pretty much messing with Rochelle & Co. via on the road blockage :D

Anyways, I went home, knocked out, and decided to go biking out. I first stopped by the high school I was supposed to go to if I hadn't got my inter-district transfer to Long Beach Poly. And man, that school has depressing written all over it. Hell they even dedicated their sign thingy to the graduates that got accepted to UC's and CSU's (which were 99% asian). In a mexican school xD

So I randomly decided that on my way back home, I would go to this temple. It has always intrigued me everytime I drive by it, but biking to it was a different experience. First of all, entering the grounds beyond the gate brought a chill down my spine for some odd reason. It felt like that I was invading holy ground [which in turn I was]. After marveling on how wonderful it looks inside through the windows, I eventually came across a random door. Being stupid, I nudged the door knob a bit, and it so happens that the door actually opens o__O

So I enter this temple, with my slippers slapping the white pearl floor, and the first thing I see is some eye looking at me. Anyways, I took my time, marveling at the pillars, decorated with colorful dragons, and how the room was perfectly symmetrical. There were pillows on the floor, and I'm guessing thats where people bow and pray. Looking at the ceiling, it felt as if I was looking into the sky (well maybe because the ceiling was painted with sky colors). Being of Christian faith, going into this type of temple brought some sort of fear into my soul, and my cholesterol-filled heart still recovering from the Korean BBQ. Walking through the temple, I felt like that I wasn't the only one in there, but I continued to explore regardless. All of those statues and the smell of incense really didn't help my fear levels go down. As a matter of fact, it rose when I suddenly came across this HUGE statue in the dead center. It sorta felt like the dieties are punishing me or something. Turns out, there was really somebody else in the temple. As soon as I heard other footsteps other than my own, I immediately dashed outta there like no tomorrow, and hopped on my bike which was conviently parked outside and not jacked. So I went around the temple, and surprisingly, there was a normal house that stood there. Being stupidly curious, I peeked through the window, and I witnessed a TV that was on. Turns out that I saw myself on that TV screen, and I freaking got outta the temple grounds ASAP and dashed home from there.

Its interesting what bike rides can give you. Especially when its a soul searching one o__O

Well now that I'm back from some Indiana Jones crap, I'm organizing a sax sectional with Greg to happen on Thursday. The little freshman needs to get on top of the music & marching :]

Syntax Error

I feel as if I was a cause of some huge catastrophe.

So I actually attended church today, and boy the service was long. After that, I met up with Brent and old family friends and ate with them at Sam Woo. Strangely I haven't been eating as much as I usually do. Brent's little brother reminded me of somebody strangely x] Maybe because she is good with kids, but she denies it xP On our way home, my sister accidentally ran over a puppy :( Thus started the domino of screw ups.

I was on my way to Long Beach to sleep over at Monico's house, and right off the first stop light, I accidentally made a left on a green light, when the person across of me had the right of way. Woo man I got lucky. And there was a cop that passed by beforehand. Anyways, I eventually make it to Monico's house, and there I cause another catastrophe. So Monico's mom made it a strict rule to not close the door and turn off the lights when a girl outside of the family (in this case Dreidel) was around. So after I accepted my phone call, I go in the room, close the door and turn off the lights, and tell CJ, Monico, and Dreidel of my situation. And when Monico reminds me to open the door, Tita just happens to be right there and begins yelling at us in Tagalog. Man that was scary. After all that, CJ & Monico shunned the crap outta me, yet Dre eventually sympathized. But yeah, other than that, it was a pretty average day.

So I'm starting to come to grips with my feelings and what not. I don't think I'm gonna follow through on the Thursday 'date'. At the moment, it sounded like a swell idea, and a way for me to get back into the dating world, but how can I enjoy that date with the foreign girl if I'm already thinking about someone else? Man I'm freaking horrible. Anyways, so I made this blog at Monico's house with CJ with me and the beast of the Serengeti knocked the f**k out. Monico is about to go home, so I better cut this blog off now x] I'm kinda glad he doesn't believe in blogs xD

FYI: IF YOU'RE READING THIS, THEN DAMMIT ALL XD

From Date to Jam...

So. Instead of that date, I'm gonna blow it off for a jam session >.< and plus I can't be a manwhore now. x[ x[ thats not me.

In other news, I am back on jamming on sax hardcore. & It is also time for me to embrace my duties as the section leader of the sax section in marching band. I need to hold a practice session soon T_______T

& I gotta make an effort to hang out with Damon & Daniel.

Come into my Dreamland.

"Nothing matters at all. Just you and me. No Rules. No laws. TURN IT UP!" - Mulatto

One of my favorite bands of all time. And majority of them are Poly Alumni going big :)

So yesterday, I went on a little driving excursion. I went to Cerritos real quick to meet up with Kathleen to pick up my hygiene kit, talked to her briefly, and began looking for a place to eat. Eventually I came across New Miyako, and got some legit Ramen :D Then I gave some to CJ, who was sick earlier. After countless Spongbob episodes aired by, we decided to bounce and pick up Franchini at her place, but the next thing that happens is like a M. Night Shyamalan movie twist [btw, I am HELLA looking forward to The Last Airbender directed by the same guy.]

So after some speeding on the freeway, we eventually end up at Silverado Park. I was hella fatigued at first, so when Chini told us to wait 5 minutes, I took the opportunity to get some shut-eye. Later she calls me and tells us to "Close your eyes". CJ predicted that she was gonna ask me out or something along those lines, but it turns out that the surprise was none other than the comeback of Christian Malinis! CJ & I just dashed outta the car and freaking gave him some man-lovin ;) After some rebonding with the happy-go-lucky adult, we headed to Rica's "kickback" celebration.

And I gotta admit, I kinda felt outta place most of the time, but I had my moments. One of the most interesting moments was during the after-party, where Ramon posed the question,

"What is the point of dance?"

Man, he really knows how to stimulate conversation, but if Monico was around when he asked that, then we would've seen either

A) a Brawl [not the video game]
B) a Heated Debate

But anyways, Arie and I did the talking and yeah. The Story Goes.

Another one of those interesting moments, was when Rica got her "Birthday dance". What started out as a 'practice routine' from PAC Camp, ended up becoming a service. o__O That. was. burning. This hotel thing that supposed to happen on August 7th is starting to look more and more interesting. A sleepover of 2 seperate groups of friends. That birthday dance also opened my eyes to aspects of people that I haven't witness. Work it! xD

Anyways, after all that, I dropped CJ off to Monico's place, then went 88mph back home to the future [I'll give you a white chocolate macademia cookie if you get the reference]. Got some chastising from mom, then attempted to sleep.

SEDUCTIVE DREAMS FOR THE FAIL!! O__o I'm just a guy.

Something from my Favorite Comedian...

"But I'd rather shed a few tears in remembrance than cry buckets in regret." - LittleKuriboh

It's got me thinking about a lot of things...

How the hell....?

Did we end up winning a Worldwide Karaoke contest with this!?!?

[I didn't sing; I filmmed, produced, directed, and editted the video]

It still puzzles me to this day, but at least we got somethings out of it x]

Conversations in the Key of C# Major with a Lowered 7th

3 hours 8 minutes and 39 seconds.

I think its a new personal record. xD

From fobby singing, to awkward silences, deep talk, and legit singing. x]

My phone died 2 minutes after the convo. I think its time to charge >:]

And I need to get better at singing, like hardcore!!

Travel & Punishment

Well.

So last night, I spontaneously went to Long Beach/Lakewood to meet up with the boys. =D Dropped off Arie home, then went to Monico's house. I was first greeted by Monico's mom, "EJ, can you take those 2 boys outside home?" I guess I felt a little special that Tita asked me that type of favor, but at the same time, I didn't feel like driving anymore xP But anyways, I took them home [one of the boys is Keena's boyfriend Maverick], then I got some KFC to bring back to the Lorenzana's house. Since I epically fail at parking at the moment, I let CJ park my car, but what happened is that nigga crushed my legs and knee caps while parking. DICK MOVE!

So CJ learned April Nhem's original song, Monico was overly-psyched at the fact that one of his 'crushes' left him a picture comment [but I gotta admit, a picture comment from that particular chick is RARE!]. We ended up playing Brawl to waste our lives away, with me getting pwned hardcore.

After all the silly stuff, we actually sat down and had our heart 2 heart (rap session)!! :D It felt relieving, and gave me some new insights on things. And it was nice looking back on things, noticing how foolish we were back then, especially at the fact how __________ [that particular conversation doesn't leave the sala]. We ended up knocking out at 5am in the morning and waking up @ 10am to meet up with Tita Leoni to visit Paul.

However, getting there was a tragedy of its own. Instead of going straight there, we had to make detours for CJ to get his money for OC Faire. It took us an hour to collect it all, and we made Tita Leoni wait an hour for us to get there. When me & CJ finally got there (Monico left somewhere esle), we got to see Tita Leoni, Paul, and a phone call from my mom how she found out that I was driving passengers T______T So after everything, I immediately drove home awaiting punishment, but instead I just straight up knock out.

When I finally woke up, there's all these text messages and missed calls on my phone. FML! I forgot that I was supposed to meet up with everybody at OC Faire, but its far and I don't have money. So now we get to the present events: wake up with Maricar in front of my face, my sister on my legs, my other sister with her boyfriend on her bed, I get on the computer, have a brief chat with Franchini about randomness XD, and now discussing how Shelby and the girls should spend our prize money. I totally forgot about that Japanese video contest we entered in, and won o________O ! Anyways, I finished this blog at around 4:41 pm. And I need to get a life x(

I'M HUNGRY!! GODDAMIT GET OFF MY WOMEN BEETCH XD

History Repeats Itself

So...

I got my car back finally, and it costed around 880 bucks :[ Basically, my mom got the car for cheap, but she ended paying DOUBLE due to the fact that this car was impounded before under my sister's direction. History is cruel. We owe my mom so much right now. But at least I have a little bit more freedom-ish.

Utilizing that freedom, I spontaneously traveled to CSULB to go see PAC Campers such as Monico, Maricar, Franchini, mysterious girl apparently named 'Penny', DKF people etc etc.

I'm hungry. So I originally planned to knock out at around 11ish until FREAKING FRANCHINI KEPT ME UP FROM GOING TO SLEEP.

I guess its worth it though x) It is interesting talking to her. But on aim = depressing. It's a LOT harder to figure people out when you can't even see their faces :( Or hear their tone of voice.

Anyways, so I have no life and have no drive to sleep. I guess I'll continue later.

btw, if you're the one reading this, then FML!

Sleep-Deprived EJ thanks to that one chick xP

Cholesterol with a Side of Fried Cholesterol

Redundancy for the fail xD

I started off my day by dropping of my sister to Disneyland. I did not sleep until after I dropped her off and knocked out at 6:30am. Then I traveled to Long Beach using my sister's Toyota Kia. That thing is a speeding beast!

Met up with CJ, Arie, Kristine, Monico, Dreidel, Rochelle, Gary, and Kathleen. By the way, happy brithday Kathleen :D Suddenly Franchini & Rika call me outta nowhere and end up burning 45 minutes off my plan x[ Its worth it though talking about the most random things =] Got some Dennys later on, but then shit happened.

So basically my main reason for being in LB today was to raise money to get back my car out of impound, and we basically failed. We only raised 280 dollars out of the 650 we were supposed to raise. Well at least CJ got his license now! Woohoo! Even so, CJ's mom is being really self-centered with the issue and is now to the point where she is neglecting him. I say, CJ if you're reading this, GET EMANCIPATED ASAP! Don't deal with this shit anymore!

Other than the driving/car/teenage drama, I'm starting to worry about my heart; physically and emotionally. I need to get some excersize. xP Emotionally, well, lets just say thats gonna have to wait.

Random = Bonded with Eldest Sister's BF on the way home. I like him =] He's cool.

Well this is kinda of a more simpler blog compared to the previous two, so ehh, I'll fix this when I have time.

Those Complicating Things called Girls

Well.

As of now, all of my close buddies just so happen to be in a relationship with somebody or really close to getting there. Among our circle of friends, I feel like Christian & I are getting the least out of this aspect in life. Well I really can't speak for Christian due to the fact that I can't get a hold of him.

Anyways, I'm beginning to long for that feeling again. Why is it that every summer I get to this point of the year where I actually start to care for looking for girls to share my cholesterol-filled heart with? But who would want that? seriously.

So as of now, I guess you can say I'm interested in this one person, but looking at the circumstances as of now, I have a snowball's chance in HELL of getting closer to her. But that doesn't mean I can be good friends with her now can I? ;)

Speaking of friends, so a buddy of mine that just randomly came back into my life somehow ended becoming involved with some of my best buddies' lives. Potential new letter into the equation much? I have no idea. With our current circle of friends, the equation goes like this.

EMP(DC)^2/Dre + G x RKLJ o________________O THA HECK MAN!?!
[Dre is cool enough to have her first 3 letters into the equation]

*****Spoilers: R&G love*******

^^^Getting back to that random buddy, there is gonna be a potential hotel party. Now that is going to be somethin fierce ;) Hope it works out :D

Well technically its still the middle of vacation, so there's plenty of time to worry about boyfriend/girlfriend stuff, but for now, I just want to embrace life as the typical conflicted teenager or now. I'm so down for some strawberry topped funnel cake. :) And I REALLY gotta hop on that Saxophone cover of 'Beautiful As You' by All-4-One, Jim Brickman, and maybe Wayne Brady

Conflict

Alrighty. I have officially joined the blogspot bandwagon. That is an self-induced fail in itself. But anyways.

First off, if you guys don't know, my name is 'EJ' Villanueva. I have no desire to type in my full name because its too long, but not as long as those Mexican names. So here is the state of the metagame.

Life can throw ridiculous curveballs at you. I gotta admit, this summer is probably one of my most enjoyable summers of all time, but to balance it out, also one of the most conflicting. You see, as of now, I am dealing with my own personal struggles right now. Mostly mental, but there are those situations where when the police get involved, thats when drama happens. So on July 14, 2009, my best buddy CJ is supposed to take his driver's test tomorrow. I pray to God that he passes, so he can get MY car outta impound. By the way, I drive now so yay! Speaking of God, tonight my sister and my mom got into an argument about our faith and church stuff. My mom is threatening to disown my sister if her beliefs don't agree with the teachings of the church.

That is complete bullshit.

Religion has always been a major factor in my family, but within the recent years, my sisters and I are seeing things with an open mind, and the things that we learned conflict with the teachings that our church has shoved down our throats. I mean, who would have thought that the Bible itself supports slavery and condones women? Now that is truly messed up. Whats even worse is that according to my mom, her oldest brother who was Catholic that passed a way a year ago [R.i.P. Tatay Kaloy], will not go to heaven. All because he wasn't in the 'True Church'? Wow.

Apparently bad things do happen to good people.

Speaking of which, hi Paul and I miss you buddy. Much love is sent to you from earth onto heaven man.
